Match report MODS v Stocksbridge (League) WON 52-5 A warm, sunny, windless, crickety kind of day greeted the hordes of Mods' fans clamouring for a view of the action at Mods' Cookridge Lane encounter with table-bottoming Stocksbridge. The last three matches at the club have now seen 152 points scored by the home team (two 2nd XV games & one 1st XV match) including 26 tries! Arrive early next week! It was hard work for the first quarter during which Stocksbridge were the more impressive but the arrival of Mods' first try set the pattern for the rest of the match. Rarely can Mods have taken a 19-0 lead in an uphill first half of a league game and the one-way traffic continued in the second half with 33 more points to one solitary try to the opposition.
