Mods' rugby results 2007/2008

Old Mods v Hullensians (H) LOST 23-25 Tries: Dave Aldam, Dan Parratt Cons: Fraser (2) Pens: Fraser (3) Is there ever a good time to concede a try? No but Mods copped for three untimely scores against Hullensians today: a minute before half time, 3 minutes after half time and 5 minutes from full time. So it was that our 20-10 lead going into the 3rd minute of first half extra time was eventually reined in and overtaken at the death. Leading 23-20 after 75 minutes, following a magnificent second half performance up the hill, we were undone by their late winner. Apart from the first 10 minutes of that half we had a good share of possession and went very close to stretching our lead and were a shade unlucky not to be in the hat for the second round draw. 2nd XV v Baildon 1st/2nd XV LOST 7-8 Tries: Mark Harrison Cons: Neil Beeforth
